In this story based on true events of 1917, three Portuguese children share a miraculous, prophetic vision of the Virgin Mary.

The Sound of Music (1965)

 

Based on the true story of the Von Trapp family.  A young novice is sent by her convent in 1930s Austria to become a governess to the seven children of a widowed naval officer.

Rudy (1993)

 

Rudy grew up in a steel mill town where most people ended up working, but wanted to play football at Notre Dame instead. There were only a couple of problems. His grades were a little low, his athletic skills were poor, and he was only half the size of the other players. But he had the drive and the spirit of 5 people and has set his sights upon joining the team.

6 hour long TV mini-series of the life of Christ. All-star cast.  Very well done.

Barabbas (1962)

Governor Pontius Pilate gave the populace a choice to spare either Barabbas, a criminal, or Jesus, condemned as a heretic, from crucifixion. The masses chose Barrabas, and he is haunted by the image of Jesus for the rest of his life.

Mother Theresa (2003)

A film depicting the inspirational life of St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Romero (1989)

Chronicles the amazing true transformation of an apolitical, complacent priest to a committed leader, who started a revolution without guns, without an army without fear. He fought with the only weapon he had: The truth.
